Program Description:
Our 3 year/ 4 year old program helps the child transition from home to a learning environment. Children are encouraged to express themselves through art, science, music, movement, language and large motor experiences. They are learning to take turns and share space. They learn to follow simple directions, participate in small and large group activities, and begin to use words to solve problems. They will be exposed to recognizing their name recognizing the letters of their name. They will also be exposed to counting and number recognition, naming colors and shapes, sorting & classifying objects. Children in our program explore many concepts, but are not required to master them before entering kindergarten. Children learn these concepts at their own pace. Children are taught with hands- on materials, songs, and games. They are assessed by observation and work samples.
