It is the purpose of The River Preschool to provide a Christ-centered atmosphere where children will experience a variety of opportunities that will develop a firm foundation for future learning. We believe in working with the total child, encouraging development of his/her potential in the areas of spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual, physical, and creative growth.
We strive to provide children with a rich, meaningful, and balanced curriculum of skills and information through age-appropriate activities that encourage the children to want to learn more. A dedicated staff of teachers believes that each child is an individual with his/her own unique abilities. Therefore, each child will be challenged to develop at his/her own rate to the fullest of his/her own potential.
We believe God is not part of our lives, but actively involved all aspects of our lives. Prayer, Bible stories, and activities are integrated daily. References to God’s love are also made throughout the school day.
Christian teachers will promote a warm and caring atmosphere, full of active fun and creativity as children learn not only ABC’s and 123′s, but also how to help care for and respect others.
The River Preschool, as an extension of The River Church, will strive to be faithful in our service to the surrounding community. Although many parents and students may not be members of The River Church, all families are welcome to visit and participate in the life of the church.
